YogaKids Trainings:

 

A Taste of YogaKids:  A 3 hour introduction to the YogaKids way of teaching yoga to children based on the book, "YogaKids, Educating the Whole Child Through Yoga" by Marsha Wenig, Founder of YogaKids International.  Take away a fresh approach to educating, exercising and empowering children.

Teaching Yoga to Tweens & Teens: 

A 3 hour hands-on introduction to yoga for tweens & teens. 

Take away methods and techniques for use in your work or at home.

 

Playshop for Educators, Parents & Child-focused Professionals:  A 3 1/2-hour introduction to the YogaKids Tools for Schools solutions for the classroom and homework time.   YogaKids’ ideas for everyday movement in the classroom are anchored in scientific research that supports the benefits of mindfulness, yoga and breathing awareness with children, this program will inspire, educate and encourage parents, educators and professionals to welcome new resources that increase academic achievement.

 

Foundations:  The original program that revolutionized the way yoga is taught to children. This groundbreaking work offers exceptional skill-building  approach to asana, breathing, teaching and relaxation.  As parents, yoga teachers and child-focused professionals, you will ground in the concepts and methods as developed by award winning yoga for children pioneer, Marsha Wenig, during her 25 years of study, research, practice, and teaching.  Prerequisite to certification.

 

Advanced Training and YogaKids Certification:  For those inspired to serve professionally and move towards mastery as a designated YogaKids Apprentice (YKA). The Home Study Practicum is designed to be completed in 6 -12 months and is supported, guided and evaluated by a Certified YogaKids Mentor.   Upon completion of the Home Study Practicum you will attend a 7-day culmination and integration of the complete methodology, heart and soul, of YogaKids. Upon completion of the 7 day Transformation you will earn the designation of Certified YogaKids Teacher (CYKT).
